A part of Costa del Sol, Malaga coastline is considered to be an important destination of the Mediterranean. With a temperate climate, this place offers a nice environment to the tourists to spend a memorable time out here. The mountain protects the coast from cold north winds. Initially a Phoenician colony, this coastal city was controlled by Greeks, Carthaginians, Visigoths, Arabs and Christians.

In today’s time it is a rich maritime city that can boast of its wealthy culture and tradition. The archeological museums in the city possess great evidences against this fact about the rich cultural values. And friendly approach of the inhabitants further enhances the joy of staying here. Even a short stroll will make you come across several wonderful destinations within Malaga. Remains of Muslims palaces of the Alcazaba fortress and old walls encourage you go on a long foot march to envisage the beauty of this city. The roads through the old walls and Alcazaba fortress is beautifully adorned with palm and orange trees.
Visiting Picasso’s house where he was born is another nice experience. Lively plaza de la Merced instills great enthusiasm in you.
