Let your business help the Environment

Its becoming more and more pressurised for owners of offices to become more eco and carbon friendly. There are only benefits as this will help staff moral, cut costs and most importantly help the environment.

A few tips on helping the environment in the workplace are as follows:

Employ somebody who cares about the environment to run the green issues of the business. Secondly you should employ a recycle scheme you don’t need to chuck away perfectly good paper or perfectly good folder if they are still usable.

Make sure employees have a good sense of caring, what I mean is do not leave the computers on all night or the lights, only use what you need to. Another tip is to promote public transport if you have 20 employees and they all drive into work that is a lot of emissions, better more offer a ride to work scheme where everyone can use pedal bikes.

Whatever you decide do not hesitate to enforce these rules as nothing will get better by just thinking of ideas.
