UV Water Purification: The Ever Best Water Purification

The quality of water actually determines every stage of our lifecycle, but it is a million dollar question how safe is the water we drink? UV Water Purification versus other Water Purification Methods:

- Chlorine is a corrosive and toxic chemical. UV destroys the toxic chloride by-products that are lethal to the human beings.

- UV purification is very cost effective than the chlorine which is required at the large quantities to overcome the high organic loadings.

Ultraviolet in respect of the Ozone

- UV water purification process is quite simple in performing the oxidation & disinfection tasks at lower costs than that is required in case of water purification by ozone. The carbon and chlorine costs are being saved in case of the UV plant as uncomplicated filter is used there. But in an ozone plant the carbon filtration is necessary to remove the toxic zone. As such it increases the chemical costs.

- There are no maintenance costs in case of the UV water purification. Whereas, Ozone plant is becoming costlier to maintain with the passage of time. UV water purification does not require higher power consumption.

- Any leakage, in an ozone plant would give rise to the health problems. UV application would totally remove all the contaminated ozone particles from the water.

That is why in today's scenario ultraviolet tactic is applied nearly in every sphere due to its simple and advanced ways of purification and disinfection procedures.

Accordingly, UV is applied successfully in Medical, Pharmaceutical & Electronics Industries, Municipal Drinking water scheme, Swimming Pools, Private Spas, Aquariums, Zoos, Aquaculture and Fish Farms etc.
