Some Party Precautionary Reminders

Now, who doesn't enjoy parties? It is but part of human nature to socialize and connect with other people. It is in these social gatherings like parties and soirees that we get to have fun and enjoy the night away. But with the occurrence of many accidents and crimes brought about by the drunkenness of people from parties, here are some friendly warnings in order for you to have fun safely.

It is always advisable to bring along a friend or be with other people when going to parties and bashes in order for you to be able to look out for each other. Things can often get out of hand when people get intoxicated with alcohol or in some cases when they take in drugs as well. You and your buddy/buddies should be responsible for taking each other home safely whether you will be driving yourselves home or will be taking public transportation. The person who will be driving should be responsible enough not to get drunk. If the buddy with you is a woman, be aware of where she is especially if she will be going with someone she doesn't know or hardly even knows to isolated locations.

Most parties would actually mean drinking. You have to know your limit or better yet set them. You have to be aware of how many drinks can get you tipsy and can get you drunk. You also have to watch your drinks. You may never know that certain people who have bad intentions especially on women may slip certain drugs or medication causing many cases of date rapes. It is best that you avoid accepting drinks from strangers and people you don't know or trust.

It is also best not to take drugs. Whether you are trying them out of curiosity for the first time or have used them before, it is best to steer clear from them. You not only risk getting arrested, you are also making yourself more vulnerable to dangerous situations with the risk of also being able to hurt other people if you get violent.

Most especially for the women, it is important to set sexual limits and to how far they will say yes. They have to be able to defend as well as protect themselves from men's advances.

Most of the time, our gut feelings are almost always right. If you feel uncomfortable or you feel uneasy of the situation, make the effort to go out or leave.
