In the present times our lives are badly hit by all types of pollution such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and many others. Though almost all these affect us terribly, but the severe impact is of noise pollution which comes primarily from vehicles, industries, loudspeakers and other related things. Our ears are capable of hearing and recognizing the sounds in the audible range whose intensity level is low however if the sounds of high intensity in the audible range hit the ear drums constantly for a longer period then they irritate the ears and even affect adversely the sound recognizing power of the ears causing damage or some other hearing problems to people. Like any other city, Los Angeles is also confronting this challenge. Noise pollution is now a serious issue in Los Angeles due to high traffic and fast industrialization. As a result of rapid growing noise pollution in Los Angeles, the problem of hearing is also growing at a very intense rate among the people. Thus in order to cope up with this serious issue the government has taken several steps, one of these is opening various government aided Hearing centers in various places of Los Angeles.

The Hearing Centers of Los Angeles are well equipped with trained doctors who are specialist and handle each patient individually. They also suggest various important ways to the patients on how to keep the ears in proper condition. These Hearing centers of Los Angeles also arranges different events and issues pamphlets to spread awareness among the people about the various hearing problems appearing in the society due to the harmful effects of noise pollution.
