3 Proven Email Marketing Strategies for Higher Response
Part I
There is really no shortage of great information on effective email marketing, but still there are many experienced marketers who drop the ball in this area. In order to be successful with email marketing, you have to be sure of many different factors and prepare well before starting, only then you will get to see results.
One of the most effective forms of marketing is still done through email. There have been so many new marketing developments in the past 10 years, but email list marketing has been and still is going strong. If you have properly cultivated your list, you can see tremendous returns from your email campaigns. Given below are a few email marketing tips that you can use right away to see results.
It's amazing to still see emails from marketers, and there is no link at the bottom for unsubscribing. They think that including a un-subscription link will bring down the subscribers number. Also, maybe they have not considered that if their emails are good, then most people will not want to leave their list. And according to the growing rules and regulations in the email marketing world, it's really important to give your subscriber a link to unsubscribe. There also cannot be any funny games about it, when they want to unsubscribe they should immediately been taken to a page to do so. If you want, you can force people to do the double opt-in because the thinking is that it will weed out those who are too lazy to do the double opt-in.
A lot of marketers like to include the main benefit in the subject line as well as be expressive to grab attention. Try to avoid making long, complicated, overly expressed subject lines. At the very least, your email will not be deleted because you have annoyed your reader with a short story for a subject line. Quite simply, your subject line has the responsibility of sparking curiosity and the desire to know more. This all has to do with what's called the 'open rate,' and obviously you want it to be as high as possible. Just be stable and consistent with your emails, and keep each one to a single theme, or message. Just make each email centered on a central theme without trying to do more than that. You never want to do anything that will cause your readers to stop opening and reading your emails.
